I can NOT figure out Cuban precedence regulations-- at least as we currently "understand" them.

This one is SO FAR down the line of awards, it makes me wonder how "distinguished" whatever earned it could actually have been?

The fact that it ranks immediately before the awards for 20, 15, and 10 years service in the armed forces makes me think that it might actually be for...

25 years service?

On the other hand, it seems to turn up as possibly the most common award given to Soviets...

I have a number of Soviet ribbon bars with it, that I just can't post in the 50KB size limit.

That's a mistery to me as well. So far I was unable to find a "sitio oficial" about Cuban awards. :(

No luck with an offical site either, hard to find anything at all in fact.

Order of Che Guevara and the Gold Star seem to top the list though, the playa Giron is also one of the higher awards

well for now the ribbon guide is better than nothing for an order of precedence at least its a start

This medal seems to be fairly widely available, in proportion to the little which is now Out There...

so it must not have required very MUCH "distinguished service!"
