Condecoraciones Cubanas,
My copy of this book arrived today, included in it are all the creation dates of the later awards after the 1979 decreto-ley 30. It's a pity for me that it's all in Spanish but I'll be working on learning more, although it won't be too hard to translate a few dates :)

And it deals with post-revolutionary awards? I ask because the author is a "Florida Cuban".

And he also has, as volume 3, Condecoraciones Cubanas: Apendice Legislativo, 1979-2011.

Thats right and an earlier Apendice Legislativo as well, 1901-1978

yep post-revolutionary awards and all amendments to the articles up to the creation of the Medalla por el aniversario 50 de los Órganos de la Seguridad del Estado y el Orden Interior on the 6th June 2009.

Wow!

Vol 1 - shown above is 384 pp.
Vol 2 - legislation, 1901-1978 is 396 pp.
Vol 3 - legislation, 1978-2011 is 452 pp.

And they are on Amazon.

I'm thinking of getting those as well.
Depends on how well i get on with the Vol 1 translation.

Interestingly, from the way they are advertised on Amazon, I get the feeling that there may be an English edition some day. In any case, I have shelves of books in Russian and Mongolian that I can't read, so why not some similar books in Spanish?

Shall be testing the Babelshot app on my phone and the translation software that came with my OCR program . . . .
