According to Mondvor's website (which is continuously updated), it also falls in the range of T1V3. However, observed numbers are quite different than the ones from MacDaniel.

Here are the ranges from Mondvor:

T1V1: 10 - 617
T1V2: 1945 - 6240
T1V3: 5421 - 23901

T2 (all variations) : 23972 - 315466

T3: from where T2 stopped to 2618333

to be honest i believe this type 3 OGPW-s have minor variations. Some samples have ring around the screwpost, other doesn't have. This is concerning bouth 1 & 2 classes.

Cleber,

You should browse the forum before asking for ID-ing these orders. They are very common and have been discussed at length. You should also get some book such as Paul McDaniel's Encyclopedia. Finally, you can check either Art's site or the Mondvor site, where all known types and their variations are illustrated with good quality.

Gents, I have a question. In the OPW 2nd class, the hammer and sickle is made of 583/1000 parts gold. I have an Order, 2nd Class with a serial number in the 1985 issue range and the H&S are silver instead of gold. The gold faded over time?

The gold H&S is only on the T2 pieces. T3 pieces (i.e. 1985 issue) were made from one piece of silver with gold plating applied.

Hi,

yes it's quite a rare variation...trench reverse 1 run. McDaniels book's serial number ranges are outdated, but according to Screwback's site lowest for this variation is 74 757 and highest 76 500. Still nice and very rare piece with less than 2000 pieces produced.

Regards,

Lauri

No mint mark, but apparently some did also have mint marks.
