Table Medal "For Excellent Completion Of Academy".

I want to know more about those excellence medals. Types, rarity, documents etc.

I have seen three variations of those medals, and will not be getting any more. For some reason they are terrible sellers for me. One of them came with a graduation certificate, that had an appropriate stamp for the medal.

Can't explain it, I had two of them on my site for almost a year, before I traded them back to my supplier.

Very nice and rare. Currently on ebay (I must say it is the first time ever I see it on ebay).

maybe some collectors consider them as deluxe "medaillon table"... just a medallon in gold. Some collectors aim beauty or aesthetical factors; those pieces are sober (?), expensive for their aspect...Nevertheless, they're relatively , aren't they? and they represent an interseting step of a soviet military career. And with a diploma, what a piece! but if it cost 100usd, some will prefer a more symbolic WW2 medal...

anyone of you can show the gramota of these?

Here's nice set for you viewing pleasure:

cased Soviet Graduation Medal, with the early silver version of the Academy Badge.

Note that this medal is for different military school than medals from previous posts.

This one is for Lenin Military and Political Academy.

Another variation of medal - Kirov Medical Military Academy:

Reverse - note someone engraved "1946yr" - I assume it's recepient's graduation date.
