re: Fake Orders of Nevsky

im not sure.

Enamel is definitely not original that's for sure. the chain mail looks a little uneven too, maybe that's just me.

interestingly enough, if you look at the word Monetnyi, you will see the word Dvor is stamped underneath the first few letters.

Sorry to be no help USSR, if its real, i hope the price reflects the condition.

Hopefully someone will be able to help you :)

Tom

Marsino, I'd like to think so, but why the oxidation is so different on the medallion and the surrounding base rays? The reverse does not show any oxidation at all. It looks like the oxidation was specifically applied at the center.

i meant to say Dvor is stamped behind s well as underneath monetnyi, like its been stamped incorrectly. Sorry, bad choice of words on ny part!

I was referring only to the oxidation of the medallion, which to me seemed normal.

Regarding the order, so as not to create confusion, have revealed to me that, unfortunately, this is a fake. :thumbsdown

Thank you Marsino!
May I ask what make you conclude it's fake?

Dear all,
here are another 3 shots of the same piece I posted before- just better resolution.
Though I can't point out any single detail, but something still bothers me...maybe the "oxidation" looks too of a "bronze" tone? Or I miss something else here? Pleeeease help! (I have only few days left to return...)
