Komsomol Table Medal Box Set.
Interesting medal - citing citation for awarding Komsomol organization with Order of Lenin in 1964. Reason for the award - for development of Virgin Lands.

Nice set, amigo! It has something to do with the revolution I would say but I expect you've guessed that already.
Show us the box, too, please. Those aren't so often seen.

Re: Soviet Desk/Table medals - is there a place for them?
It's a set of commemorative medals for all the orders the VLKSM received over the years of its existence with little bits about why they were awarded them - exceeding goals of one of the five-year-plans (maybe the first one - I just glanced at these and I'm forgetting what I read as I type...:o).
I did notice that the one for the order awarded in 1928 had a flag with some of the "not-quite" old Russian lettering, but older than the current alphabet (which did have changes to it around the turn of the 20th century). I digress...:) It does appear to be a scene from either the Russian Civil War or the original Revolution - but technically they sort of bleed into each other - oh boy, I guess I'm going to be getting a few angry responses to that last statement.
