Would someone PLEASE post a picture of a Medical Officer's shoulderboard, any rank from Lt.-Colonel from the 1960's-1991? I believe that they are silver with a red stripe(s) but I'm not sure.

On this subject, I just received this pair of reproduction WWII Medical shoulderboards. Since it's a repro I can set them up as I like. Would the Medical Service insignia be on these and what rank range would there be? Any help would be appreciated!!! Laurent, Thanks again for finding these for me!!!

No photos right now, but: from 1981 to 1991 they were just standard, gold with red stripes and piping. From 1969 to 1981 - I am not sure (someone borrowed the 1974 regulation book from me), but I think: silver with pink s&p.
From 1958 to 1969 - I think silver with green stripes.

hello, for me it is a M69 jacket. I believe all jackets from M58 to 1969 were of brown cloth...

Marc

another french collector showed me nice pic of a 1969-82 medical officer: wave-blue parade jacket, silver shoulderboards, purple piping all over. So red medical piping would be 1980ies...
