Exhibition Of Achievements Of The National Economy Diploma.

Here are scans of a 1983 diploma I picked up recently. The cover is heavily padded and when folded together is about 10 mm thick. Overall size is 163 x 223 mm.

Doesn't seem to have anything on it about a medal being awarded. Any ideas what it was given for?

You are absolutely right about the medal part; this is diploma is the award itself.

PS: I am not convinced that the folder and the diploma go together, though

Hi Marc,

I wondered about the folder myself. I would probably have expected the VDNKh logo to be on it. However, this only cost me US$1.99 so I couldn't resist.

If the diploma is the award, were they given for performance that was good but did not merit a medal?
