During the fighting for the city of Sebastopol on May 10, 1944 and Kherson on May 12, 1944 in the period of offensive operations for the liberation of the Taman peninsula, the gun crew in which he served as loader destroyed 4 mounted machine guns, 2 artillery pieces and their crews, 3 rocket launchers and up to 60 enemy soldiers and officers.
