Picked up this 50th aniv with Order of Victory on it, came with document.
I was very pleased to see the quality of the medal, the Order of Victory on it is quite detailed and is separately attached to the medal.

Its as close I will ever come to owning the Order of Victory.

Here's a document to Mihail Mihajlovich Karakulin. There is a similarly named Private born in 1927 awarded the Medal "For Combat Merits" on the Russian State site who could be the same person although it will be impossible to ever tell if the two are indeed one.
