Great piece in superb condition! According to Kutsenko's book # 195 was awarded in 1933; #219 - in 1933; #229 - in 1932; and #241 - in 1931, so unfortunately the awards were not consecutive. Alexei |

I think in the range of $4500 - 5000.
I will talk to the guy soon and have some scans, I saw his order and it is in excellent condition, He also ave a tractor Lenin! (for sale)

Note the reverse and compare with the earlier example. First was mirror-reverse, this is flat-back. This came from an EBay auction from about 6 years ago.

Obviously the mirror-reverse is older than this flat-back. Nevertheless the first one you posted looks in a much better condition! Really a perfect piece! This Azerbaijani Red Banner of Labor is imho the one I like the most from all these recently RBL you posted. What is your favourite? Thanks a lot for posting them. Best, Dolf |

I believe second example is a fake.
Kutsenko book doesn't mention any RedBanners without mirror reverse, several specimens I've seen for sale also has mirror reverse. In addition - details on the 2nd piece aren't as crisp as on the 1st one. There are two of these RedBanners for sale by a major dealer at the moment - for $4190 and $4600.
