Here's one that came today. Looks like the vet prefered the red ribbon instead of the regular one;) The number series puts it in 1943 which is unusual for a 600k but only research will tell:D

Nothing 'flashy' about the citation but what makes this one come alive is the veteran adjusted ribbon http://www.soviet-awards.com/forum/s...ery-medal.html. This one speaks volumes about the vet.

3. Chief of the Radio Station of the 3rd division control unit, Junior Sergeant Stefanovich Petr Mikhajlovich for the fact that on 24-25th August 1943, being at the Observation Point under strong enemy's fire, he provided uninterrupted connection on the radio with all locations. Besides that, during the pursuit of the enemy in the Ogor' region he followed with auto-transport and equipment; having noticed ahead a suspicious part of the road, he neutralized on it two enemy's mines, this helping the advance of the equipment and auto-transportation.

Born in 1922, candidate of the VKP(b), Ukrainian, drafted by Mena District Military Commissariat. Home address: Ukrainian SSR, Chernigov Region, Mena District, Village Mena.
