11th World Festival Of Youth And Students Havana Cuba 1978 Badges.

In 1978 the 11th World Festival of Youth and Students was held in Havana Cuba, under the motto "For Anti-Imperialist Solidarity, Peace and Friendship" where 145 countries participated
This is an international event, organized by the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY), a left-wing youth organization, jointly with the International Union of Students since 1947 and is still ongoing.
The 17th event was held in Tshwane, South Africa 2010 with the motto "Let's Defeat Imperialism, for a World of Peace, Solidarity and Social Transformation!" 126 countries took part.

Interesting from the collecting point of view is that some of the badges to commemorate this event were made in Cuba while others were made at the VEB Präwema factory in Markneukirchen which at the time was part of the GDR.
