Re: Fake Liberation of Prague Award
From the picture shown I'd say it was good. It looks to be period paper as well as ink.

Re: Fake Liberation of Prague Award
Good evening everybody.
Here is another Prague award I have got. I understand it was issued in 1950. I am keen to say that it is alright. What do you think? cheers sergio |

Re: Fake Liberation of Prague Award
Thank you,
I am pleased having met a serious seller, since both medal and award seem to be original (he just omitted to mention the document was issued in 1950, a minor sin I would say). The disappointment for the fake polar defense still hurts, however. Can someone help me in translating the pencil graffiti? There is one on each side of the document, but I cannot understand what they are talking about. Thank you ciao sergio |

Re: Fake Capture of Belgrade Document
When I looked at the document something struck me as wrong about it.
I went to the Mondvor site and looked at their example. I have made a composite picture with their example and the one on Ebay. Assuming the Mondvor document is real then look at the alignment of the A in the document number with the 20 in the date. The alignment on the Ebay document is different. The typeface also looks slightly different. Since both documents are from the "A" series I would have expected them to be more similar. Lets see what the experts think! Simon |
