1920 Political Office Identification Document.
Interesting document from 1920.
Certificate of personal identification from the Political Department of the 15th Rifles "Inzensky" Division of the Red Army attesting that Comrade Berdychevskaya is a Bolshevik Commander in the 15th Division. |

Not right.

Re: A very cute comrade?
Not necessary a commissar either...
As Komandir RKKA pointed out, this is a certificate for showing support to the RKP/Bolshevik/communist cause. Marc |

Re: A very cute comrade?
Sorry, it wasn't at all clear (to me) what point "Komandir RKKA" was trying to make.
The translation I allude to in my first post is the best I have received. Is it wrong? Still . . . with support like that . . . . |

Re: A very cute comrade?
Once again.
This certificate was given to civilian woman and certified that she likes bolsheviks. She wasn't no comander, no commissar, no military at all. |

Re: A very cute comrade?
Well, let's just say that the creative translation you received "enhances" the actual reality...

Re: A very cute comrade?
In an era before easily made IDs, an attest to Party loyalty resulting in benefits like more food ration, better housing, etc.
