I don't want to give away all fine details, since the replicas makers monitor forums and would only benefit from it.
I've been trying to get the 11-republic pair for a few years now. Bottom line - it's virtually impossible to purchase the real ones due to extreme rarity. I've seen tens of pairs - ALL replicas, even the highly-priced ones. I'd imagine it might be possibe to get the 16-republic or 15-replublic ones but still very rare.

Igor sold out the last 16 republic sets a few years ago. Never seen another come up for sale since then.
