I. Brief description of personal feat

In the night of 21 and 22.03.1944 while being the leader of a group of sappers, they soundlessly reached the German wired entanglement and having made three entrances in it without losses, he came back to the trenches; this provided the completion of the combat mission.
In November 1943, during scouting reconnaissance, he made several entrances in the wired entanglement and mine fields of the enemy. During one of the operations he was wounded in the leg but he did not leave the battlefield until he finished the mission.
He is brave and fearless, and the best sapper-scout in the Platoon.

He deserves the governmental award Order of “Glory 3rd Class”.

Commander of the 1152nd Rifle Regiment
Lieutenant Colonel (Signature) / Trostinskij /

25 March 1944
