HELP with fake unidentified award booklet

Hi! Can anyone please help me to identify this Soviet period Ukrainian award booklet. I can't find the award shown in the booklet anywhere. I understand some Russian, but not Ukrainian. I understand this booklet was issued on the 10th anniversary of either the Russian Civil War, or the Revolution. The recipient is wearing a RKKA uniform on the ID photo. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

It is a document for the badge pictured in the left hand corner. If I'm not mistaken these are being forged now, however. You may be able to find a thread on them here.

Dang! If legit that's a damn nice booklet.
Can you show the covers as well? Might not be a bad idea to post them in the 'Fake' paper section.

I wish I could help with the badge ID. I know what it is but I can't think of the name. There's plenty others here who have more retentive memories and will help you out.:D

BTW, welcome to the forum.

Re: HELP with unidentified award booklet

Saw one of these at the local militaria fair last weekend. Was almost tempted but it was in a sea of fake NKVD, KGB, Cheka, etc documents so I didn't bother.

I have also seen 2 or 3 on E*** recently. I think Paul is right - it is likely that someone out there is faking these.

Thanks for the replies. You can almost guarantee that if more than one of anything genuinely rare appears on e***, then it will be fake. I'll be back in Moscow in 3 weeks, so I may get a friend to take a look at it, although he's more of an expert on Great Patriotic War medals.

StevkaOK,

I am 99% confident that it is a fake; the outside cover is a dead give-away.

Privet Marc! Thanks for letting me know. It's another story of when something appears too good to be true, it is!!! Fortunately I didn't pay much for it, as the seller was unsure about its origin too.

I will add a missing percent to it to make it an even 100%. It is a fake, and this photo is also used on other documents.
