Hungarian Sports Awards.

I don't collect sports medals as a rule, but this particular piece caught my eye... the combination of hot enamel combined with dimension; plus the fact that no one else bid on it. Anyway, it reads "International Balaton Cup" and is for an annual pentathlon held at Lake Balaton. As you can see from the seal at the bottom, it's from the Kadar period (post '57). This was not worn but, rather, presented and is, more or less, a "table medal".

Re: Hungarian Sports Awards

This next medal is an award (Gold class) for local military competition (battle-type obstacle course). The large medallion is "stuck" in the plastic case. The tag was added at some point with, I suppose, the name and unit of the recipient. If anyone can give me an idea of what it exactly reads, I'd appreciate it.
