Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

As first turret gunner firing on the cities of Fugdin and Khunkhedao his accurate firing, as well as excellent and rapid acquisition of targets, enabled the destruction of several enemy bunkers, improved defensive positions, and personnel.

In fighting the enemy near Fungdin, Khunkhedao, Aotsi, and Sansin he displayed courage and steadfastness. His excellent gunning supported the intensity and accuracy of the gun turret’s fire, resulting in the destruction of an artillery battery, ten-vehicle convoy, three firing positions, as well as destruction and dispersal of as much as a company of enemy infantry.

In fighting for Aotsi while assuming the surrender of a battalion, he and two others captured 22 enemy soldiers, complete with their weapons and a heavy machinegun.

In addition to the above, Comrade I. Pilipenko captured an enemy officer.
