Be extremely aware that there are already a vast amount of fakes of these out there already. Fortunately just like the one pictured with the "139" raised. The "real"ones have serial numbers engraved.

The "real" ones, unnumbered and fresh to be awarded can be purchased for $10, all day, every day, to support the pro-Russian cause.

I think I'll wait for a serial numbered example with matching document before parting with any cash.

Here is a real example.

The Medal was originally created by Igor Strelkov, the commander of the defending forces. The Medal was later ratified by the Ministry Of Defence of the Donetsk People's Republic before finally becoming an official federal award of Novorossija.

This real example is a two piece construction, with the correct depiction of Saint George, berries in the correct places and no minted serial number (most if not all of these were issued unnumbered). There are many fakes of these, from the minted raised number example to cast pieces.
