Higher Diplomatic School Of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Graduate Badge.

I thought I had posted these elsewhere (and I'm sure I did), but my searches have not turned up anything under the obvious terms.

I finally acquired the last type of diplomatic academy academy badge - though I'm both still not sure what place the MGIMO had in foreign affairs or exactly what the grad badge for it looks like, though I'm pretty sure I have one.

The badges following my latest and final diplomatic academy/institute are pictures in the next few posts to keep them together - hopefully so that I don't have to go hunting in vain for posts of them again.

Any contributions to for what and when these academies operated would be appreciated.

This first one is a badge I never expected to find and certainly not in such fantastic condition. To be honest, since I just got it, I haven't really had a chance with grading finals and all that to really get to know the details of this academy other than it pre-dates the next post.

The interesting things are that this one is made with the same "waving red banner" type enamel background as the other but this one is slightly thicker (maybe 0.5 - 0.75 mm) and weighs a bit more than the final later version shown in the next post - alas I have no working electronic scale at the moment - but the difference can be felt in hand.

An excellent example (and no asking about the price because it was way less than I paid for any of the others posted below - and even more important, it is not for sale).:)
