I bought the Korolev medal - that was sold yesterday for $55.00 - for $40.00, which to me seems reasonable price for this medal.

The medal was issued in 1984, About 3500 were given.

I really don't get it: The seller who sold a lot of medals on ebay has sold 3 identical medals of Korolev. The first sold for $55.00, 24 Hours later I got one for $40.00 and today a third medal of the same kind was sold by the seller for $15.50.

I cheked it again. This is the First issue of the medal, from 1971. It appears in the book on space medals - and it is genuine, including the suspention and pin.

Mark - it is NOT a fake what so ever. Later issues were similar, but not the same design of KOROLEV face. About 3000 medals like this were made.
