Navy WO parade boards?

Did the navy warrant officers have parade boards? or did they never march on parade or they just wore their regular boards?

Mark,

It is possible, it would be a general of costal artillery.
Now, there must NOT be rank stripes on the sleeve, otherwise, it is simply a converted uniform.

Yes, the boards are fine; there were Naval Generals of the Coastal Service, Artillery, Aviation, etc. The cuffs here should be with generals embroidery, not rank stripes ( as stated above).

The black parade uniform used the same boards for parade as for service dress. They were piped according to arm of service:
- white for shipboard
- red for coastal artillery/naval infantry/other shore support
- blue for aviation.

The summer white parade uniform also had white boards with appropriate red or blue outer piping.

But In wo summer parade uniform number 2, picture shows him with white jacket and black boards!

I had an idea to convert it to navy admiral ( with parade shoulder boards, sleeves stripes and sleeves admiral stars ), but decided to keep it AS IS. Will post picture, when I am done with awards. Thanks everybody and special THANKS to Jeffrey!

Leave as is; good move. Remember, just because it does not follow regulations 100% does not make it bad or a make up. It very well that when he went for a parade tunic, all this general could get was an admirals without any sleeve insignia. If he was in a remote are this is really possible and this was really his parade tunic.
