Art,

Did I read it right? Women thongs? Those small... things?...
Well, it could be a good idea for us to make gifts to the wives, girlfriends, etc, so they can be more receptive to our hobby... see what I mean?...

I guess I might buy one of those

Art,
I'll have to take you up on that offer. I haven't been to New York in 25 years.

Do yourself a favor...unless you are a winter sports type person and enjoy the cooler weather, avoid Buffalo until late June or July when it is truly beautiful for about two months. Plenty of outdoor festivals to go to and lots to do. There is a familiar joke every WNYer knows..there are only two seasons in Buffalo...winter and road construction

Upper NY

I spent my four undergrad years in Syracuse and our motto was "At least its not Buffalo". 212 inches of snow my senior year. DD

We've been REALLY lucky last few years. I can't remember when we had a really bad winter. By bad, I mean Blizzard of 1977 type. That's the one that gave Buffalo its reputation as a winter wasteland (of course this is relatively tame by Siberian standards). For more info:
