Am now involved in actually reading the book (rather than simply looking at the photos); nothing dealing with the railroad yet. And, unfortunately, I have not seen any photos dealing with that aspect of the country. Most of the book, so far, has concentrated on the split, the ensuing civil war and the aftermath through 2007. As a great many photos show posters/backdrops of the 15 year celebration, I would say most coverage probably ends in 2005, giving the authors 2 years from beginning to publication.

I would love to see someone cover the PMR from 2007 to the present! Much happening there, from the election of a new, young President (Yevgeny Shevchuk, who replaced Igor Smirnov in 2011) as well as the appointment of Nina Shtanski, the "drop dead gorgeous" Minister of Foreign Affairs.
