European Railworkers Football Championships Budapest 1947 Medal.

Here is the Medal "European Railworkers Football Championships Budapest 1947" (Europai Vasutas Labdarúgó Bajnokság Budapest 1947/Cheminots Championnats Européen Des Footballeurs Budapest 1947).

This is apparently the "Silver" Medal for members of the runner-up team in the championship that was held in July 1947.

The team that was second in the competition was Lokomotiv Sofia (from the People's Republic Of Bulgaria). They later went on to win it on two occasions.

The Medal is missing the correcting ring but is not in a bad way considering its age.

A very obscure item considering how many players, substitutes and other teams members will have made up the Bulgarian runners-up.
