Fake Supreme Soviet Deputy Badges

This is the first time that I see something like this. SO UGLY AND CRUDE!

Just for the record - a real badge (photo by Nota Bene):

It was part of a uniform. And the seller words:

"There is a naval academy badge (Frunze Naval Academy), two wearing copies of the Star of the Hero of the USSR, and a badge of the Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR."

Tal was the fake being sold as an original? It's absolutely horrible.

How can anyone believe that this is real? It has to be one of the worst looking fakes I have ever seen.

Gentlemen,

That's a first. I have never seen a fake Supreme Soviet badge before. It's ugly, but I think that if a collector had never seen a genuine badge up close he can easily take it for an original.

Interesting badge - looks almost right, but has a "flat" look - the background rays and the H&S looks vague. Could be, however a problematic scan.

I think the scan is quite nice, and it's the badge that is problematic. I am told that they are now making very decent copies.
