Leading a group of sappers during the offensive fighting from the village of Pavlovo in the Yukhnov Raion to the village of Mariupol in the Vskhody Raion, comrade Aleshin detected and disarmed 363 anti-personnel and 51 anti-tank mines.

He observed and disarmed two bridges, which contributed to the successful advance of our units with minimal losses.

He deserves to be awarded the Order of the Red Star.
