Have got research back on a low number red star, the history of the officer is great as i had never heard of the early conflicts her fought in, also nice to see a colonel getting his hands dirty as well

Short description of the military feat or achievement:
In his capacity as a Headquarters' Chief of the engineering forces on the North-Caucasian Front, Colonel BADANIN has demonstrated his good organizational skills. Under Colonel BADANIN's direction, the Headquarters began managing and providing better assistance to the engineering forces at the frontline in terms of ensuring the success of the offensive manoeuvres. As a rule, especially during battle operations, 50-60% of the Headquarters staff worked with the engineering units and assists them, as a result of which the Military Council of the North-Caucasian Front has recognized their actions as good.
Under the enemy's mortar-thrower fire, Colonel BADANIN has personally managed the building of the bridge over the KUBAN River in the TROTZKAYA district and taken them across the river in a timely manner. Under Colonel BADANIN's direction, tank units have repeatedly crossed the Kuban River in a timely manner. During the offensive operations of July - August 1943, Colonel BADANIN has repeatedly conducted in-person checks of the preparations for the sappers' passage into the minefields.
