Matteti,

The prices at which you bought the various orders and medals are dirt cheap. I can tell you that in St Petersburg, prices for pretty much any order and most medals except for the most common jubilee ones are HIGHER than in the US, so I do not believe that your remark is necessarily applicable these days.
I once heard what I hold to be the ultimate gauge of value for collectibles: "An item will only be worth what somebody is ready to pay for it". So, if you are comfortable with $5, then it is the right price for you; for me, this one will have to be somewhat cheaper :)

Lapa, you are right about that awards worth what we are ready to pay for.

What I wanted to express is just that depending where and from who you buy, you can find very different prices.

Even within Ukraine, I also noticed a huge difference in prices between the more touristic cities like Kyiv and even L'viv and the cities which were more "closed" to foreigners if we can say.

The same, in bigger and more touristic cities, there was huge quantities of fakes (even some so rare awards that just to see one for sale you know it's fake because you don't believe you will ever see one in your life).
