I would like your suggestions for what Orders I should put on this uniform. It clearly has holes for three orders. Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Orders for a uniform
Doc,
Any combination of ORS and OPW should be close enough, IMHO. Marc |

Re: Orders for a uniform
Hey Marc,
Отсчен Чорозо!!! I was thinking about an OPW1, OPW2 & ORS. I have to look at the uniform again to see how many medals he wore. Again, Thanks!!! :thumbsup:thumbsup Доц |

Re: Orders for a uniform
Hi Doc,
I agree with Marc. To be more exact, you might be able to figure out the combination of awards by looking at the indents on the uniform, if they are clear enough to make out. -Alex |

Hi Alex,
Thanks!!! I'll look for the indentations. They weren't immediately visible. :thumbsup:thumbsup Доц |

Re: Orders for a uniform
I've looked at this uniform VERY closely. The Bottom hole is for an ORS, the Middle has an indentation matching an OPW and the top indentation can only be a Kutozov (3rd Class I'd imagine). Now I need to find a good copy of a Kutozov III Class.

Re: Orders for a uniform
Finding good copies (and I feel SO dirty typing this) is difficult these days. Kapral has pulled back, which is not a bad thing, but it complicates our quest. I need a good copy screwback Lenin for a uniform and . . . :(

Re: Orders for a uniform
I thought Capral was still available, I browsed their site just a week ago.
Copies in general are usually available on eBay. Last edited by Tretov; 02-06-2009 at 04:59 AM. |

Re: Orders for a uniform
On the right side I found holes for a six medal bar and a four medal bar. I'll have to put something together. I'll ALWAYS take suggestions.
