Russian Railway caps

Hi folks ,,

i found this cap on the web ,, i just love the color combo.
i figured the emblems are not original to it ,, are they ?

it is marketed as railway Russian federation cap.

what can anyone tell me about it ?

i normally don't go in to the post soviet Russian federation stuff, but i like the look of this cap very much.

re: Russian Railway caps

I must admit I don't know what caps do russian railway personnel wear. But in Ukraine, the colour schem is mor or less the same as was in USSR.
The inside of this cap looks like that of modern Belorussian caps (altough I think that Russians do them the same for non-military uniformed personnel), so it may be from Belarus

re: Russian Railway caps

i got the cap in today,

my o my how i like those colors!!

but the badges are weird ,, the crown badge had some loop stitches around a narrow point to hold it up.
it is not pinned through the crown.

the band badge is just the ordinary lapel badge of soviet construction and model.

any one ?

Railway cap 1984

Hi folks ,

i just got this cap in.

i know the cap is dated 1984, and i identified it as railway.

i can find nothing on the type of badges that went to this cap.
is the army cockade right to it ? it looks like its always been there.

the buttons and cord are silver, but i have never seen such a cord.
the wing badge is the early 80's type. nearly the same as end of USSR type.

any help and comments are very welcome.
i both it mainly to further complete my collection.
and am very happy with it ,, i simply never saw one before.

kind regards

PS. i used the photo's the seller provided me, i have no time at this moment to make better ones. and i really wanned to share this one.
