OK, thought the single red bar was for single lieutnant...mea culpa!
Your blue uniform coat is great Jeff! Here is a first pattern flying helmet with neck cover, fitted with original goggles from WWII era. Also a pair of gauntlet, not in excellent condition but with a nice patina! A little comparison for goggles: top: RAF MKIII goggles, inspiration of soviet ones center: VVS goggles from WWII (note the top aeration) bottom: soviet goggles from 1960's-1980's Jerome Last edited by CtahhR; 04-16-2014 at 06:37 PM. |
