I'd say several hundreed would be about right.

an hamburger auctionner sold Wili Stoph's (former DD nr2) Lenin med, with box id to yours and doc. The source was the family, all Stoph's legacy. The stuff come at 270 euro without 2% taxes...quite a good deal.

Whose nationality is the recipient? Bulgarian, perhaps?

That's what I was thinking. I think a Bulgar is as good a guess as any.

Yes, they are. Over the years I've seen probably about a dozen of those medals, and only three documents.

The recipient is a Bulgarian.

100th anniversary of V.I Lenin - screwback suspension

I just got this one, mounted to a uniform. I have seen it only once before, and that time the screw was home-made attachment by glue. This one is more firmly made, looks like it was made at the mint.

Anyone else with experiences of screwback suspension for this award? It is not the same screw mount as the Afghanistan medal (which has a otherwise very similar suspension).

Not mint made. As clearly seen, the ribbon shows signs of the "treatment" it got. The suspension was taken from another medal/badge.
