To all the dedicated members of the site and forum,

It is with a mix of sadness and happiness that I decided to sell the website and move on to another stage of my life (home ownership).

I appreciate the dedication shown by those who stayed longtime members during the good times, and the not so good times. Those who helped as moderators are the best of the best, and my hat is tipped to those who went the extra mile as moderators to keep the forum running as it should.

Good luck to all of you. If I could turn back the clock and do it all over again, I couldn't have picked a better group of guys to have as friends during the adventure we had here.

I took great pride in knowing that despite our geographic and political and religious differences, we managed to remain united as a group of friends interested in sharing information. It was a genuine honor being a part of that.

Brooks has assumed ownership of the site and forum. He is a very technically savvy guy and I fell better knowing that The Soviet Military Awards Page and Forum is and will be, in good hands.
