Help with RF uniforms
Hi guys!
I would lie to buy another RF General uniform and I found a website (in the US) with a lot of stuff. Please give me your opinion : are these copies? reproductions? unissued stuff? I know the pics are not the best... :) Any experience with this seller? (I am sure you'll know the name by watching the pictures... Thanks in advance for your help! :thumbsup Some pics :

Re: Help with RF uniforms
I know that site, they use the ukrainian TRIDENT symbol as their name and logo. Most, if not all, higher stuff is reproduction/surplus/parts. Especially the Soviet era items. Not sure about the RF items, but I would guess it is about the same source they use.
I have bought one uniform from there plus some small accessories and their service is appalling since they rarely respond to emails. Should you still decide to buy, you better call them to get the information needed. Last edited by Tretov; 03-29-2011 at 11:27 AM. |

You're right it's TridentM (I didn't know if I could write part of the name ) I really want to buy a RF parade general uniform (it will be great with the admiral one that I have) if you know someone / another website which offers such kind of stuff, please let me know, it would be great! :bigthumbsup if not, I will contact them by phone and not by email (by the way thanks for the advice). I don't care to have a surplus uniform, but I don't want to have a simple copy, that's the reason of this thread. Cheers

Re: Help with RF uniforms
If I found a "real" uniform (surplus), I'll be happy with it (it's not the same story with RF uniforms than with Soviet ones :)), as I said I simply don't want to have a cheap copy. If you can provide further help to me, it'll be great! :cheers

Re: Help with RF uniforms
It could be that the situation is "better" for the RF uniforms, I do not know. I have no better source either, as far as I know Trident is the only source for RF generals/marshals uniforms, fake/repro or not.

By the way, do you know if there is a way to check if a RF uniform is a genuine one (f.e. production tags, details on the uniform, material, type of buttons, etc.) or if it is some kind of "lottery"? :) "Perhaps it is a genuine one, perhaps not..." :screamingmad
