Awards at the Mongolian State Security Museum, now non-existing

Just wanted to post a few photos that I took at the Museum of the Mongolian State Security in 2008. Unfortunately, the museum was closed in 2009. Nevertheless, the photos have preserved the part of the exhibits. The orders, medals and badges that were awarded to Lt. Colonel of the Ministry of Public Security Magsar Uizen.

Thanks for these. It is very sad news that the musuem has been closed. While it was not the easiest museum to get entrance into, it was clearly worth the effort. While it had a very uninspired approach to how to do a museum (as these exhibits show), it had some very nice material.

Is there any idea what became of its collections? Or can we guess??

I do not have any ideas. The Intelligence agency, no surprise to anyone, is a closed organization and I simply do not know who to ask about the exhibits. I will try to trace the fate of the items and will post a reply as soon as I find out something.
