Do a search on jambyn jamyan and you'll find a great "advisor" example.
For the rest, for research it is key to have the order booklet itself with data included in it.
I do have a list of 50 or so SB serial numbers (ever growing list) where i can identify with a degree of uncertainty what the name, role and reason for awarding was. So for those cases, just the serial nr could be sufficient but need the booklet to be 100% sure.
