Three qualification badges, are they OK?
I'm leaning towards aquiring badges like these and I just found three of them on German eBay but for some reason they look less like 50s badges and more like 90s material.
What do you all think of these please?

Re: Three qualification badges, are they OK?
I´d stay away from all of them, specially if they´re for sale on eCrap.
Look at the crude detail of the stars, leaves and symbols and the crudely applied white enamel.

Re: Three qualification badges, are they OK?
I'd say 2008-2009 vintage.

Those ara available in vast quantities in the baltics, 2008 vintage as Desantnik says. Possible useful for re-enactment and as space fillers.:thumbsdown

Re: Three qualification badges, are they OK?
Now I got a handle on what I should look for. In other words heavy brass and 50s-era quality enamel work. And probably a marked screwplate as well.
Thanks again all y'all! ;)

Re: Three qualification badges, are they OK?
Oh, hey! I was just looking on my wall and spotted this.
Now I know for a fact this ain't '08 vintage cuz I've had it for about 10 years but it sure doesn't look 50 years old. Did I get a hose job? (I doubt I ever paid more than 5 bucks for it, if that). How late were these actually issued? And what were they replaced by? TIA

Re: Three qualification badges, are they OK?
Hi Eric, this is original for sure. They are very cheap and common, so it´s not heavily faked.
This military school badge was awarded from 1957 to 1961 and was replaced by the rhomb shaped one, with blue enamel, CoA and red star with hammer and sickle. It´s reffered by the NJ site as the "unified" version, since it replaced the service branch graduation badges (like the ones you show on the first posts)
