He has evacuated many wounded soldiers and officers, as a result saving many lives. He has made many improvements in the Regimental Medical Point. Comrade Ivanov is not concerned with his own safety. During the fighting from 31 December 1942 through 10 January 1943 he excellently rendered medical aid to the wounded. Comrade Ivanov personally went forward and also ensured medical personnel were distributed throughout the ranks. He is deserving of the Order of the Red Star. He is widely using a blood transfusion technique in his routine practice, which saved many lives of wounded soldiers and commanders. Constantly tries to improve the work of PMP (Regimental Medical Station – Polkovoj Meditsinskij Punkt). Comrade Ivanov, despite the direct danger to his life and exhausted personal condition, during the combat actions from Dec. 31, 1942 to Jan. 10, 1943 performed an excellent job in delivering medical care to wounded soldiers. Comrade Ivanov personally examines every wounded soldier and uncovers the cases of simulations and self-induced gunshot wounds. Deserves state award order of the Red Star.
