4. Party affiliation: Member of the Communist Party since 1932

9. Permanent home address (of the prospective awardee or his family): 31 Kalinin Street, apartment 2, city of Chita

Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits (to be compiled by the staff of the military unit, formation or institution):

Comrade Yelizarov has been serving in the Patriotic War without any interruptions since June 26, 1941 as engineer for electrical and special equipment of the 46th Aviation Division, chief engineer for electrical and special equipment of the Air Forces of the 22nd Army, engineer for electrical and special equipment of the 211th Mixed Aviation Division, and after that as deputy chief engineer for electrical and special equipment of the 4th Guards Ground-Assault Aviation Division.

Throughout the period he has been at the front, he has been devoting a lot of attention to leading the technical personnel within his specialty, mustering them to prepare the materiel for combat sorties, which ensured the trouble-free functioning of the equipment during combat missions.

As a specialist, he possesses thorough knowledge of the equipment of the SB, Pe-2, MiG-3, Yak-1, P-5, and Il-2 aircrafts and operates it well. Possessing a lot of experience with practical activities, he spends a lot of time training the young technical personnel to master the materiel of the Il-2, achieving the trouble-free functioning of the equipment within a short period of time.

Aside from his main activities as an engineer for special equipment, he devotes a lot of time to supplying the units of the division with spare parts to repair damaged aircraft during combat missions. In September 1942, nine AM-38 engines were shipped to him from the workshops, which he delivered to an emergency landing location, thanks to which the planes were back in operation within a short period of time.

Conclusion: For carrying out his tasks of delivering engines and spare parts to planes on emergency landing locations in an excellent manner and for the selflessness he displayed in his duties, he deserves the Order of the Red Star.

Re: Red Star,0192399,Air Force Engineer

Bill,

Great one. Have a look at the citation signatory: world recordsman, HSU, and one of 13 full cavaliers of the Order of Service to the armed forces of the USSR.

His awards came onto the market in Moscow about 7~8 years ago.
