Short, concrete description of the personal combat feat or merits:

While beating off an enemy attack on August 24, 1944 near the town of Raudany in the Lithuanian SSR, comrade Dmitriyenko showed himself a steadfast soldier, merciless toward the enemy.

Comrade Dmitriyenko’s machine gun was located at the flank of a rifle platoon. When the enemy put pressure on the platoon comrade Dmitrenko didn’t retreat just one step from the occupied shore. With his machine gun he hit the flank of the enemy target, where he killed and wounded 15 German soldiers.

While the initial situation was being restored comrade Dmitriyenko supported the rifle platoon’s attack and killed another 7 German soldiers and officers. He deserves the Order of Glory, 3rd Class.
