Medal "Antonio Maceo".

A military valour related medal, research ongoing.

The Cuban military officer killed at the Jose Marti International Airport while trying to disarm one of the three young army deserters, Army Lt. Col. Victor Ibo Acuña Velazquez, 41, was posthumously awarded the Antonio Maceo Medal of Valor, the island's top military honor.

Awarded to Revolutionary Armed Forces members, in active military service, reservists and retirees, and to friendly countries´ military, who with unselfish, firm and decisive combative action had contributed to the defence, development and consolidation of our socialist homeland.

If it has the Council of state reverse i think we can confirm that it is the Medalla "Antonio Maceo" mounted on the wrong ribbon.

Pm sent with regards the book.
I think i'm correct in saying it covers the new orders and medals in the Decreto Ley #30 also awards ratifed in the decree.
The text describing the critaria is similar, if not the same.
