Jurij Andreevich Hejlikov
OLG 1 cl.: 673;
OLG 2 cl.: 15087 OLG 3 cl.: 54149 All three mounted together on a bar and the booklet for the group. It lists all three orders with their numbers on separate pages.

Re: Jurij Andreevich Hejlikov
Ukaz of 21st April 1975 was for Ministry Of Agricultural Construction and "Special Construction".
Ukaz of 2nd March 1981 was for Workers and Engineers of the Ministry Of Coal Industry. Ukaz of 26th October 1989 is as yet unclear I have found one for Georgian SSR Civil Aviation and one for the KGB neither of which apply here I believe. Very much points towards a construction engineer.

Dietrich,
Can you please post individual scans of the front and back of each order, without showing the suspension. Marc |

Dietrich,
I checked my database, and I have a completely different recipient for the OLG1: 673. Вовк Алексей Александрович 26.10.89 Do you have this set in hands, or are these pictures that you have received from some seller? It is all very questionable, especially since the booklet type does not match. The individual pages are effectively those of Volk's booklet, but the cover page with Helikov's name is of a later type. And why would someone awarded an OLG1 in October 1989 receive his booklet in August 1990, when one knows the prestige attached to this specific order (full set cavaliers were considered equivalent to HSL). Here are the pictures of Volk's booklets that have been in my database since 2004! Marc |

Re: Jurij Andreevich Hejlikov
If Hejlikov's group is made up that may well explain why I can't find a suitable ukaz.
Now here's resurrecting a discussion 10 years old! Something somewhere doesn't add up.

Re: Jurij Andreevich Hejlikov
Ctahhr,
I did not pay attention to the date of the original post :o Anyway, this happens to be an interesting topic. Now, this booklet has been shown as an original example of the second variant on Mondvor. So, the inside pages are genuine, as well as the award dates, except that Volk, not Heylikov, did receive these awards. Marc |

Re: Jurij Andreevich Hejlikov
So it could well be just a case of someone copying the entries to a new book and just changing the name and date?
The lack of good scans doesn't help either. What is known about the REAL recipient?

Re: Jurij Andreevich Hejlikov
No, no, no!. In this case, if you compare Dietrich's scans and the ones I posted, they happen to be the same. Only the front page is different, and corresponds to a V3 booklet.
I believe that Dietrich may have shown these pictures then when he "bought" that beauty. Full set of the OG were very actively traded at that time; fakers, but especially scammers, were not missing on the opportunity and I know of a couple of collectors who bought sets based on pictures only to end up being separated from their hard-earned $$$. I suspect that this was one such occurrence. Marc |

Re: Jurij Andreevich Hejlikov
Gotcha!
Now it all makes sense. Jumble it up and take the money.
