officer belt buckle

Gentlemen,

What do you think about this belt buckle sold as officer belt WW2 ?
It doesn't look like those we can see, for instance, in Webster & Nelson's book Uniforms of the soviet Union 1918-1945.

I think that is a post-war general's service belt buckle.

Welcome to the forum.

Nack is right, these belts, with minor changes, were issued for generals for the duration of the USSR. Ones from the late 1940's look identical to WWII versions, this one seems perhaps 1960? Thats a guess though.
