New Communications Dembel patch

Just came in the mail...found this patch on ebay tossed in with some other Eastern Bloc patches. What is rather nice is that one of the matching shoulder boards was with the patch. Both the patch and the CA on the board were painted with gold paint. Anyways, pics are below.

From what I have gathered, the patch says "Moscow District, PVO, 1988-1990." The PVO apparently stands for Protivovozdushnaia Oborona, or Air Defense. I wonder if this fellow was a radar operator or something of this sort. Either way, it's another dembel to share.

Very nice! Maybe we should create a dedicated thread just for dembel patches? When I have time maybe I'll see if we can cobble one together.

Tis not a bad idea....I'm up to five in my collection, and I know others out there have examples in their collections.
