Wow thats the first time I've a post communist yugoslav award, unfortunatly the eagle is much less pretty that the torches :(

Even has Milosovec (sp?) signature on the award document.

Actually now that you mention it Jeff I was very surprised to see the presidents signature on such a low ranking award.... In the old days Tito's signature only went on National Hero documents

Thats the first post-communist era OMM I've seen. I AGREE I like the torches better as they were there representing the different ethnic communities. Also, What is the class?

It is a III.class order (Military Merit in security and defense) of the FR of Yugoslavia.

P.S.The signature is a facsimile(serial-production print).AFAIK,all diplomas were made on 16.June 2000.
Last year in Belgrade the price for this order was 35 € ! :)

Sold for US $134.50 ! I believe the poor buyer thought the signature is real. :dissapoint
