9. 3rd Rifle Company, 1st Infantry Battalion Private Pil’nikov Ivan Yakovlevich for it during the fighting around Bohuslav Kiev region while in the intelligence he shot a motorcyclist and delivered valuable documents to headquarters. In battles against German invaders he was wounded three times: first time July 24th, 1941, second time June 12th, 1942, third time August 21st, 1943. In the battle near the village Lekhino (?) October 9th, 1944, Psykov region, Leningrad oblast, worked as a signalman under enemy fire eliminating 18 breaks in the line (?) thereby insuring an uninterrupted signal with the company battalion and company headquarters (?).

1910 year of birth, nonpartisan (not a member of the Communist Party?), Russian, farmer, drafted into the Red Army June 23rd, 1941, Slavinsk Regional Military Commissariat, Stalinisk Region.
