Marshal of the Russian federation ranks - Page 4

Nice shot.....Kulikov never retired, so when the USSR "became" or devolved into Russia, he went with it...the uniform he is wearing is Russian federation, with the Marshal USSR boards, just like in my photo ( dress v. service). It must be that his rank (Marshal of the USSR) is still recognized by the Russian Federation, but can never be issued again.

Are these real ones? The quality of the embrodery leaves me quite puzzled.

I saw them on an Ukrainian site, Those were NOT for sale and are ilustration of real ones. However, the quality is not the best as might be expected.

I think that those are reproductions.

not sure of the question...the scans Tal posted are from a Zueghaus article a bit back about marshals ranks of the russian federation...i have not seen a real pair for sale, but then again I have not been looking for them. as for anything sold on the Ukrainian site ( i think i know the one you mean) i would simply not accept at all.

Tal answered the question I never openly asked, that is the genuineness of the boards on the pics he posted. It seems we all agree that they are reproductions.
